Dr. Meghan was amazing! Tessa really liked her, she is kind and gentle. And you can tell she has a genuine passion for animals. Highly recommend!
Our dog LOVES to come to this vet for her monthly shot. loves to see all her friends. They are so kind to her. Unfortunately we did have to experience a euthanasia here yesterday with our cat but previous to this appointment, they gave us all the options to try and get him better, referred us for ultrasounds. we did all we could for our baby. But our end of life experience was kind, and peaceful. We will continue to come back with our herd of animals.
Had my best friend worked on by the wonderful staff here at Thrive Vet. Highly recommended! Very friendly, loving and helpful staff. Thank you so much. 😃
Airdrie Animal Clinic (now Thrive) were incredibly kind and well priced. When we had to put down our family dog they were supportive and gave her a dignified passing. They also saved some of her fur and took her paw prints for us to keep. Although a difficult experience, we were touched by how thoughtful they were. We will bring our other fur babies in the future.
Above and beyond treatment for my little Oliver on his surgery date. They gave him extra love, care and attention. Pricing is incredibly fair and they were very understanding of our needs as well. Highly recommend

Exotic and pocket pets typically refer to a variety of small, non-traditional domestic animals kept as pets, which are distinct from common household pets like dogs and cats. Here’s a breakdown:

Exotic Pets: This category includes a broad range of animals that are not commonly domesticated. It often encompasses:

  • Reptiles: Such as snakes, lizards, and tortoises.
  • Birds: Including parrots, canaries, and exotic finches.
  • Small Mammals: Like ferrets, hedgehogs, and sugar gliders.
  • Aquatic Pets: Such as exotic fish and amphibians like frogs and salamanders.
  • Invertebrates: Including tarantulas and certain types of insects.

Pocket Pets: These are small mammals that can literally fit into your pocket or easily be held in your hands, making them quite portable. Common examples include:

  • Rodents: Such as hamsters, gerbils, mice, and rats.
  • Small Rabbits: Often considered pocket pets due to their smaller size compared to larger rabbit breeds.
  • Guinea Pigs: Known for their docile nature and minimal space requirements.

Both exotic and pocket pets require specific care, diets, and living environments that cater to their unique needs, often differing significantly from those of more traditional pets.
